Do you live defensively? You know what I mean, do you live waiting for the next problem? the next challenge? Are you on guard for the next difficulty God sends your way?
To live defensively, to anticipate hardship, is a measure of unbelief. It is not realism, it is realism mixed with unbelief.
King David, who did not have an easy life, and did not live a sinless life -- looked square in the face of reality and exulted in the certain and persistent love of God that would be his every day of the rest of his life.
