Placing an event in the calendar is a way of making a statement: "This event is a priority over other events.  This one is locked in and gets first place."

Starting in June, the first week of every month at Grace Church will feature two priorities.  On the first Tuesday of each month, we will gather for worship at 7 PM.  This will be an unhurried time to see the glory of God revealed in Christ and respond to him in song.  We will sing new songs and old songs.  We will sing joyfully and expressively.  We will turn our eyes away from the things of this world and behold our God.  As we gather, we will expect our God to give generously to us -- we are expecting gifts and ministry to each other by the Spirit.  Special teaching on the gifts of the Spirit will take place at 6 in the evening.

Continuing a pattern of the last few months, we will make priority of prayer with fasting.  On the first friday of each month, we invite the members of Grace Church to join in prayer -- beginning at 6 AM at the builidng, and continuing throughout the day, in families, by phone, in small groups -- asking God to do his work among us and through us for the advance of the Gospel.

Worship is our response to seeing the glory of God in the face of Christ.  Prayer is a response to seeing the generosity of God to his people.

Come gather with us, partner together in Christ.
