Bible School
Grace Church is pleased to announce the beginning of our Bible School. Our first class will take place from 7-9pm on February 12, 19, and 26 at the church. No childcare is provided and there will be bottled water for attenders! The class will be helpful to high school students through adults.
The first class is on the Doctrine of Scripture and Interpreting the Bible. It is taught by Mark Lauterbach, one of the pastors at Grace. Mark is our resident smart guy and has lots of degrees behind his name.
This class is foundational to all the others. Unless we can agree on the nature of the Bible and its authority, we have no path to follow in our life as a church. Unless we can agree that the Bible has an intended meaning and our goal is to find that, we will simply end up saying, "That's your interpretation" when we disagree.
There are no assignments for the class, but we recommend every student read chapters 2-3 in Bible Doctrine by wayne Grudem, OR chapters 2-8 in the larger Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem.
